Environmental Concern is a non-profit founded in 1972 to promote understanding and stewardship of wetlands through education and outreach, native species horticulture and restoration and creation initiatives.
Wetland issues have no borders and neither does Environmental Concern. We publish a wide range of wetland resources including planting guides, construction guides, assessment guides and curriculum guides.
Our educators travel throughout the country teaching educators how to bring wetlands alive and into their classrooms with a variety of hands-on, inquiry-based, cross curricular activities - including the construction of schoolyard wetland habitats.
